Fishing in Wolf River Country
|
![]() |
Perch, Crappie and Bluegill provide good fishing action all summer long, both in
Partridge Lake and the many backwater bayou's along the Wolf River. Walleye, Smallmouth, Largemouth, Northern Pike and Catfish also provide
excellent action for the more experienced anglers. The fishing in the area is
highlighted by the spring and fall Walleye and White Bass runs. Anglers from all over the Midwest traditionally flock to the area for the spring
runs, yet the fall fishing is by comparison excellent, yet virtually untouched.
This is one of the best fishing areas in the Midwest for quality fishing.
Plenty of fishing information is available at the local stores, restaurants, tackle shops or from other campers. You can also learn the area from one of the local fishing guides.
